General Antivirus

General Antivirus is not legit antivirus program. It is a rogue antispyware application that installed with the help of trojans that come from fake online malware scanners.

When General Antivirus is installed, it will register itself in the Windows registry to run automatically at each system startup. Once started, the program simulates the scanning of the computer and detects a lot of worms, trojans and viruses. Of course, these scan results are a fake. General Antivirus is is unable to find the viruses and trojans, as will not protect the computer from possible infection in the future.

What is more, while is running, General Antivirus shows a variety of warnings and security warning as shown below:

As you can see, General Antivirus is a dangerous computer parasite, which should be removed as soon as possible.
