Remove Data Recovery virus

Data Recovery is a fake computer optimization software that displays false information that your computer has a lot of critical problems with hard disks, memory, etc. It "detects" these problems in order to trick you into purchasing so-called full version of the software.

What Data Recovery virus does

Data Recovery from the same family of malware as Master Utilities, PC Repair, System Repair, Windows XP Fix, etc, It is distributed with the help of trojans. Thus, this malware can be installed without you noticing that, and does not require your agreement!

When installed, the rogue will perform a fake system scan and detect 11 critical errors. Some of the errors:
- Drive C initialization error
- Read time of hard drive clusters less than 500 ms
- 32% of HDD space is unreadable
- Bad sectors on hard drive or damaged file allocation table
Remember, the scan results are a fake, this malware is unable to detect any problems. So you should never trust this fake application and ignore all that it will display you.

While Data Recovery is running, it will display various fake warnings. Some of the warnings:
Critical Error! RAM memory usage is critically high. RAM memory failure.
Critical Error! Hard Drive not found. Missing hard drive.
Critical Error! Windows can't find hard disk space. Hard drive error
Critical Error! Damaged hard drive clusters detected. Private data is at risk.

As you can see, Data Recovery pretends to be a legitimate PC optimization tool but, in reality, it is a scam. You should remove this malware as soon as you notice it installed on the system. Follow the Data Recovery removal instructions.
