Antivirus GT or AntivirusGT virus/malware

AntivirusGT also known as Antivirus GT is a new rogue antispyware program from the same family of malwares as Antivirus7, Antivir 2010, Antivir, Alpha Antivirus.

Like other rogue antispyware tools, this malware installed with the help of trojans. When AntivirusGT is installed, it will register itself in the Windows registry to run automatically every time when Windows starts. Once running, it will simulate the scanning of your computer and detects a lot of worms, trojans and viruses. Of course, the scan results are a fake. Antivirus GT is unable to find the viruses, worms and trojans, as will not protect the computer from possible infection in the future.

What is more, while is running, AntivirusGT will display a lot of fake security warnings, popups and alerts.

Antivir 2010 is installed through the use of trojans. Once installed, it will perform a scan and detects a lot of false infections as shown above.
