Antivir 2010 is a rogue antispyware program. It is a clone of Antivir, which is also rogue antispyware program. Both programs from the same family of malware as Alpha Antivirus and Personal Antivirus.

Antivir 2010 is installed through the use of trojans. Once installed, it will perform a scan and detects a lot of false infections as shown above.

While Antivir 2010 is running, it will display numerous fake security alerts.

Antivir 2010 will also hijack Internet Explorer.
